Historic Genesis

Commerce is the Pulse of the Nation, and the Vaishya Community is its Backbone

The history of the Vaishya community is not merely limited to trade and commerce; it is an enduring saga of India's economic self-reliance, social harmony, and cultural preservation. From Maharaja Agrasen's egalitarian principle of "One Brick, One Rupee" to the boundless national philanthropy of Bhamashah, our ancestors have always placed national honor and public welfare above all.

In the contemporary era, as commerce has transitioned into a digital, institutional, and structured format, small and mid-scale traders have strongly felt the need for a formidable institution that can fiercely champion their issues from Parliament to the grassroots.

Bhartiya Vaishya Mahasabha is committed to fostering unbreakable unity and matrimonial alignment across all 356 sub-castes—including Agrawal, Varshney, Maheshwari, Khandelwal, Jain, Baranwal, Gahoi, Porwal, and Kesarwani—empowering our youth to lead in global enterprise.

"Until the last merchant in society is secure, capable, and organized, the mission of making our nation an economic superpower remains incomplete."
— Core Motto of Bhartiya Vaishya Mahasabha

To organize national felicitation assemblies honoring meritorious students, civil servants, and talented youth of the community.

5

To politically empower the community by holding seminars and demanding proportionate legislative and civic election tickets from political parties corresponding to our population.

6

To support and assist any community brother contesting elections irrespective of political affiliation, maintaining strict neutrality if multiple community members contest the same seat.

7

To host distinguished Vaishya achievers as chief guests in official assemblies, reserving external guest invitations strictly for exceptional circumstances.

8

To invite, encourage, and support talented members actively working within various political organizations across all Vaishya sub-castes.

9

To remain strictly non-political, independent, and unaffiliated with any single political party.

10

To fiercely advocate against the bureaucratic harassment of middle-class Vaishya families and traders who pay the highest taxes yet receive zero state assistance.

11

To urgently appeal to all brothers across all 356 sub-castes to write only 'Vaishya' in the caste column during the upcoming National Caste Census to accurately certify our true collective population.

!

Historic National Appeal for Unity in the Caste Census

A national caste census will soon take place across India. All members of our 356 sub-castes are requested to write only 'Vaishya' in the caste column, ensuring the authentic collective strength and population of our community is recognized.
